Declutter Your Wardrobe for a Cause
by Louise D'Allura on March 14th, 2015

This month I've been having so much fun working with clients to make their mornings easier - all by Decluttering their Wardrobe!

As one of my Wardrobe Kickstart clients said - it's about creating "Peace and the perfect start to the day because everything is in its place."

How true is that!?  If the rest of your life is crazy and chaotic you can invest in your own sanity by getting that area organised!

Where to start?
Before you even open your wardrobe take a moment to answer these questions:
  • How do you need your wardrobe to function first thing in the morning?
  • How do you put outfits together - is it by colour/ style/ type of clothing?
  • What type of clothes match your lifestyle NOW vs five years ago?
  • Where will you donate the items that don’t make you look absolutely positively  fabulous?
If you're going to struggle:
  1. get help (see our kickstart by clicking here)! AND
  2. get decluttering for a CAUSE!!
The Corporate Clothing Pop-up hosted by Women’s Legal Service Queensland and Women  Lawyers  Association  of Queensland is on at the historic Historic Hanworth House on Friday 22 May 2015 in Brisbane.  Brisbane author and fashion blogger, Nikki Parkinson will be providing style tips, while I'll be conducting Wardrobe Clinics!  Just bring a photo of your problematic wardrobe and I'll share lots of tips and tricks!

There are a few ways you can support this event - the first is decluttering your wardrobe of fantastic quality corporate gear you've barely worn (if at all!!)

When you know the charity you’re going to donate to, it gives you new-found motivation.  You don’t hesitate on the decision to keep or donate.   I've been collecting client's clothes for this event - which is great because I know what some clients no longer love, they will find something they love MORE at the event!!

If you're in Brisbane clothes can be dropped off before Friday 8 May at:
• Women’s Legal Service Annerley office - 387 Ipswich Road, Brisbane (corner of Ponsonby Street. Entry via Ponsonby Street)
• The College of Law Queensland - Level 5 Wesley House, 140 Ann Street, Brisbane
• Griffith Chambers, care of Kylie Hillard - Level 18, 239 George Street, Brisbane
• Robbins Watson Solicitors - Suite 12, 2 Executive Drive Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast

The good news is once you declutter, you know what you have, making it easier to be decisive about what buying the corporate attire and designer fashion bargains at the Corporate Clothing Pop Up.
